Robotic Tray Packaging

ICC offers a variety of options for tray packing and tray packaging. ICC robots can pack tri-fold clam shells, clam shell trays, custom trays, and any tray type made from PVC, Polystyrene, PRTG, and other materials.

The robotic application for tray processing begins with a robot cell which may include multiple robots and multiple conveyor lines. A tray processing cell may include a tray former which provides the tray to the robot. The robot could use a second conveyor line to palletize or transport trays. The trays may also be placed on a pallet for fork truck or hand truck transportation. The tray pack process could include inspection, sortation, or variety packaging.
